Chalet Le Soleil is in the centre of Plan Peisey within easy walking distance of the Vanoise Express and the large Peisey chairlift. This location puts the chalet truly at the heart of Paradiski which offers 425km of runs with plenty to offer beginners and the most advanced skiier. Each morning you leave the chalet you can decide if you want to ski in Les Arcs or La Plagne. The double decker Vanoise Express takes 2,000 people per hour and takes four minutes to get you across the valley into La Plagne.
Skiing on the Les Arcs side is more extensive with everything for the most advanced skier and boarder but there is also plenty for beginners. The nursery slope is at the top of the Peisey lift making Peisey Vallandry the ideal resort for parties of mixed ability. At the foot of the lift is the ski school which offers plenty of instructors and lessons to suit all ages. Ski lift staff are very attentive to children whether accompanied by an adult or not.
For younger children there are a choice of crèche facilities offered by La Chat Botte and Tom Pouce. Plan Peisey is a small but growing village which together with its sister village, Vallandry, make up the family friendly resort of Peisey Vallandry.
